One of our favourite Little Luxuries is our Sunday latte routine ☕️

If you know us, you’ll know how important our morning coffee routine is, especially on our days off. Believe it or not, before Olive & Fig, George didn’t drink coffee. Now he’s our in-house barista with the skills he’s been perfecting for the past two years.

George makes our Sunday latte routine such a special experience. Before I even come down from bed, he sets the table for us while our espresso machine warms up, has relaxing Sunday morning music playing and often surprises me with a little treat to enjoy with my latte. When the latte is ready, he sits next to me as he creates and shows me the latte art. As he is making his, I take a bunch of photos (which you see me post) and then we finally enjoy our lattes and each other.

This weekly ritual not only leads to a perfect Sunday in our house, but it is a time for us to reconnect, dream and spend quality time with each other doing something we love….drinking delicious coffee!
